YOUR AI DEPARTMENT
How the coach uses your data
Updated October 6, 2026. This notice describes the Certification Coach, alongside YAID’s general privacy policy.
Practice without an account
The coach stores your chosen exam and mode, question IDs and order, selected answers, whether you received help, timestamps and results. It does not ask for your name, email, payment details or official exam credentials. We use these records to run practice, resume an attempt, explain answers and calculate your results.
When you use ChatGPT or Claude
Your AI host sends the arguments needed for a tool call to our service, such as an exam code, your answer selection and a session ID. We return practice questions and results to your AI host. The service does not request your full conversation. OpenAI or Anthropic processes your conversation under its own policies and settings: OpenAI privacy policy and Anthropic privacy policy. Keep personal or confidential information out of practice answers.
Storage and service providers
Vercel hosts the coach and Supabase stores practice records in the United States. These providers process operational information to deliver, secure and troubleshoot the service. See the Vercel privacy notice and Supabase privacy policy. Platform logs may contain request metadata, such as IP addresses and request paths. Our application does not log tool arguments or answers and has no advertising, marketing tracking or session replay.
Retention and browser storage
Practice sessions expire seven days after creation and then cannot be resumed. A daily cleanup removes expired sessions from the live database, normally within a further 24 hours. Provider backups and operational logs follow their separate retention schedules. Abuse prevention uses a keyed IP fingerprint that changes every minute; those counters are removed by the daily cleanup.
The standalone coach keeps recent results and the active session ID in this browser’s local storage until you choose “Clear this browser’s progress” or clear site data. Clearing the browser does not delete the server’s temporary session. A session ID grants access to that practice attempt, so keep it private.
Your choices and support
You can stop practising at any time, clear local progress, or contact contact@youraidept.com to request access or deletion. Include the relevant practice session ID privately if you have it, so we can locate the anonymous record. For other rights, contact details and how YAID handles support messages, see the general privacy policy.
